Back to School + Fall Work Wear Sales

This week A went back to preK, which means we are slowly getting back into a routine. We had such a fun summer, with so many great mini and long vacations, that my 4YO has asked why we can’t always be on vacation. Good question, buddy…good question.

Well I have to say that I’m happy we are back to school and I have some more time to focus on the blog. I felt like this was the summer of “winging” it and trying to get as much content out as I could, but never really feeling like anything was going out fully buttoned up. So I hope to bring you better, more consistent content while I have one away at school.

I still have my My 2 YO home with me but he is turning into quite the little helper/assistant. Here he is helping me with some returns at the mall. I always make it fun for him and try to remember that I do this so that I can have flexibility as a mom but also be as fully present as possible for them. This picture was snapped right before we went to the fountains to throw pennies in. Both my kids love the water fountains as well as riding up and down the escalator. ๐Ÿ™‚

On to the sales! The color block sweater trend is here to stay and I’m finding so many great alternatives to the expensive Nordstrom one that sold out during the anniversary sale. This one comes in the same color as the Nordstrom option, but I opted for the color that was more “fallish”. The color below is called stripes.

There’s a great sale going on right now over at Old Navy. If you haven’t checked it out or have Super Cash to use, now is the time! This blazer is soft, flexible and extremely comfortable. A great staple piece for the office.

This dress had me at hello. The color, the pleated detail…so SO cute! It actually reminds me of the bridesmaid dresses my mom had at her wedding many many years ago. What do you think?

We all need more leopard in our life! This dress is so pretty in person and I love that it has longer sleeves. I feel like it can be hard to find a cute dress with long sleeves and at this length without looking too frumpy. I sized down on this one.

This poncho sweater is so versatile. It’s easy to pair with a pair of jeans on the weekend or dress up with leggings or black pants for work. It’s warm and cozy and I love that it’s a looser fitting option for those days that I decide to eat Chipotle for lunch…Oops.

This sweater blazer is a must! It’s the perfect fall + winter layering staple. Chic, classic and tailored. I also love this reversible tote. Camel and black all in one bag. Win Win.

Thanks for reading this post! Head over to FB for a chance to win a $25 gift card by letting me know which look is your favorite!
XO,

Kim
